OAB Management

Begron

(Mirabegron 25/50 mg Tablets)

Begron (Mirabegron) is a medication used in the management of overactive bladder. It is in the sympathomimetic class of medications which received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in June 2012 for treating overactive bladder with symptoms of urge urinary incontinence, urgency, and urinary frequency.

Begronrelaxes the muscles of the bladder to reduce the need to urinate frequently or urgently. It works by activating beta-3 adrenergic receptors, which causes the detrusor muscles of the bladder to relax. This increases the amount of urine the bladder can hold, and reduces the frequency and urgency of urination.

Sonacin-5

(Solifenacin 5 mg Tablets)

Sonacin (Solifenacin) is a medicine used to treat overactive bladder and neurogenic detrusor overactivity. It may help with incontinence, urinary frequency, and urinary urgency.

Solifenacin antagonizes the M2 and M3 muscarinic receptors in the bladder to treat an overactive bladder. It has a long duration of action as it is usually taken once daily.

Sonacin-M

(Solifenacin 5 mg + Mirabegron 50 mg Tablets)

Sonacin-M is used in the treatment of Overactive bladder (OAB) symptoms.

Sonacin-M is a combination of two medicines: Mirabegron and Solifenacin. Mirabegron is a beta 3-receptor agonist. It works by activating the receptor in the bladder, causing the bladder muscles to relax. Solifenacin is an antimuscarinic. It also works by relaxing muscles of the urinary bladder. In this way, it works to prevent frequent, urgent, or uncontrolled urge of urination.
